Area Control Unit
It collects data from sensors and transmits it to the main control unit.
Main Control Unit
It collects and processes the data coming from the field control unit and determines the values to be displayed by the indicators.
Ultrasonic Sensor
A device mounted above the parking lot that can detect the presence of a vehicle in the parking lot with sound waves and provides information flow with other components of the system.
Empty / Full Indicator
LED indicator with at least two colors to inform the driver whether the parking space is occupied or unoccupied.
Area Counter
A device mounted at the top or bottom of a driveway that can calculate the number of vehicles crossing the road.
Navigation Device – LED Directional Boards – Guiding Arrows – No Entry Sign
A device used to direct the driver to an empty parking space or to display the status of available parking spaces.
Power Supply
A device whose main task is to provide energy to other devices connected to the system.
Geographical Terms
Section
Small parking area that can be geographically defined with entry and exit points. A corridor with driveways and parking on both sides is an example of a section.
Region
A larger space formed by more than one section. The size of the zone is limited by the coverage capability of the interface device.
Block
It is a geographically identifiable, large area consisting of multiple sections and/or regions with multiple entry and exit points. Examples include the entire parking lot or just one entire floor.
Special Vehicle Parking Area
Parking lots are special parking areas allocated for disabled or elderly drivers to park their vehicles, usually located in an area close to the building entrances. In addition to the occupied/unoccupied LED indicators, these parking spaces can also be displayed in blue or yellow.
