Ultrasonic parking detectors placed on top of each parking lot collect real-time information of parking spaces. Led indicated that the sensors are lit red or green, visible to the vehicle that is walking through the parking lot, and quickly understandably informs the parking lot of the situation.
Area control units transfer information of all sensors attached to it to the central control unit. The central control unit completes information processing and sends processed parking information to the relevant LED routing panels. These displays, organized by region, show the parking information that is empty with the routing arrows.
The system also sends information to the computer. The computer records the received information to the server database. Users can live access to annual, monthly, daily statistics as well as the status of parking spaces.
Using the RS485 “shielded twisted pair” cable, the area units are serially connected to the main control unit at the end. The RS 485 has advantages in providing a parasitic environment, running without problems at long distance, and connecting devices multiplely. One of the biggest advantages is low wiring costs.
